We have attached a local site that offer the holidaymaker loads of choices.
Chanonry Point is about 30 minute drive away. It lies at the end of Chanonry Ness, a spit of land extending into the Moray Firth between Fortrose and Rosemarkie
Chanonry Point is reputed to be one of the best spots in the UK to view Bottlenose dolphin from the land. The dolphins are often visible off Chanonry point, particularly on an incoming tide when they play and fish in the strong currents. Other wildlife, including porpoise and grey seals can also regularly be spotted. European otters are occasional visitors. (See pictures Below)

Rosemarkie is an extremely ancient village looking east along the Moray Firth. It was certainly settled by the Picts, and they left their mark in the form of more than a dozen carved stones found locally.Rosemarkie beach has a children’s play area, cafe and rock pools.
